Now Ant Barb aint no Jule-UH Childz or nothin, but she DOEZ make good Kookiez. In fact, she's been making theez kookiez for a LONG time. I rate them 5 PAWZ!!

ReziPEE for KenzieZ KookieZ

Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2 - 2-1/2 Cups whole wheat flour (start out with 2 cups- see if you need to add more-depending on how wet your batter is-should be similar to biscuit dough) 1/2 Cup powdered milk 1/2 Cup broth - chicken, beef, or vegetable 1/3 Cup vegetable oil 1 egg 1 Tblsp Brown sugar Mix ingredients together. Batter shouldn't be too wet or it will be sticky. Take out half or all batter and form into a ball. Sprinkle some whole wheat flour on the ball and on the cutting surface so it is easier to roll out and pick up. Roll until desired thickness. Cut out with cookie cutters or cut into squares (size of your choice). Bake at 325 degrees for approximately 30 minutes. Smaller cookies take less time - and need to be checked occasionally to avoid edges burning. Place cookies on a rack to cool. Cookies freeze well and can be stored in a closed or open container for several weeks. Tips: try using small holiday cookie cutters or candy cutters available at kraft stores - especially for mini-treats or treats for small dogz. If you use large kookie kutters - cooking time may need to be adjusted, depending on size and thickness of kookiez. Holiday bags and containers are available at craft stores and thiz makes a nice gift for your favorite pup.IMPORTANT - Let yur canine lick the bowl - it makz the kookiez bettur! HisTree of KenieZ KookieZ These cookies were originally made for a special dog in our family, my big sister Bailey. They were partiKularlee good for her because she had some food allergies and Ant Barb's Mom, Grandma Jean, made these kookiez for her that had no "mistree" ingredients found in processed kookiez. Bailey had a large group of dog friends in Alexandria, Virginia where she lived wif Mom and Dad before I was born and was well-known for her holiday and birthday partiez where all the dogs would dress up in their favorite Kostumes. Each dog would eat kookiez during the parties and would be given a doggie bag to go. Sadly, Bailey is no longer with us, but her spirit lives on. We hope your kanine will enjoy these kookiez as much as she did and Miz Kallie and I do!

(And by the way, did u notice the Z's at the end of KenzieZ KookieZ? That's cause when your pooch has had sum, they are gonna haf GREAT doggy dreams while catching ZZZZZZs after a bellyful of treats!)
